Fort Worth Plastic Surgeon - Dr. Walter Gracia

Dr. Gracia grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and went to undergraduate school at Northwestern University and medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.

He trained in General Surgery at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh. This was followed by a Hand Surgery fellowship with Lynn D. Ketchum at the University of Kansas Medical Center. The last three years of training were at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and consisted of a one year Burn fellowship followed by a two year Plastic Surgery Fellowship.

Dr. Gracia is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Medial Association, American Burn Association, American Association for Hand Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, Tarrant County Medical Society, Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Fort Worth Surgical Society.

Dr. Gracia volunteers with “Proyecto Huasteco, Sonrisa Alegre” repairing cleft lips and palates of the indigent population of Mexico.

He is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon with an office conveniently located in the hospital district of Fort Worth, Texas and was recently listed in the December 2010 issue of Texas Monthly as a “Texas Super Doctor.”
